There are times when I feel so low,
the reasons behind it I clearly don’t know or may be, I just don’t want to admit so.
Because somewhere deep down inside I myself know that succumbing to the situation is like becoming your own foe.
God! I long to get rid of this woe.
And I also know that the only way out to fight this feeling is by persistently saying NO,NO and NO!
It does seem long and slow at times,
but the effort is worth discovering a thousand gold mines.
I hope and wish to forever remember these golden lines.
Don’t you feel, sometimes life appears to test your patience and integrity?
Let’s be ready to face it as it comes by first of all accepting this nature of reality.
Very well written Bhavya! You find the answers to all your questions and that is simply great!!

Tai
Thank you Tai:)
ReplyDeleteI really find writing very therapeutic.
You know Tai,recently I read a thought by a writer. It goes like this..."I write to discover who am I."
I just loved it.She has expressed the merits of writing so beautifully and in such a simple manner. It really connects:)
I am sure you will love it too:)
Love you!:)
There's a slight correction here.Actually the quote was,"I write to discover what I know." :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing words.....so true.We surely need a tool to gauge ourselves and most certainly writing is one of them!'It' is there, just needs to be discovered. Thanks for sharing this, Bhavya. Could you let me know her name?
ReplyDeleteTai
Tai,i just cross-checked...Her name is Flannery O Connor(you may verify the spelling). She is a US novelist.I read her quote in the book,'The art of choosing' by Sheena Iyengar. It's a nice book,Tai.Do read it sometime.
